My little Ruby,
I missed last month so this is a little combination of both. The entire month was beyond crazy and full of firsts for you.
You started Pre-school and you settled in beautifully. On your first day you strolled in like you have been going for years. You fell in love with your teacher and found your own best friend called Ruby. You still get a little sad each morning when you have to say goodbye. But when I come to pick you up at the end of the day and your face lights up like you haven’t seen me in months, well it fills my heart with joy. Chicken pox were also a first for you this month, with a total of 67 spots, you were a complete trooper and not a single complaint was heard. You get that from your Daddy.
Ever since you were in my tummy we’ve travelled 2.5 hours to the studio every morning. But that all came to an end and we finally moved to a little cottage in Edinburgh. We are closer to family and friends and its like we have never been away. You love being able to play in your very own garden & your friends come over for lunch. Our life has changed and is finally coming together just how we imagined it would. In a matter of days we are taking our very first family holiday abroad. We are lucky enough to be visiting Paris. Its a place I’ve longed to visit since I was a little girl and always said I would before I was 30. We’ll be celebrating your 3rd birthday there and you asked if we could have cake for breakfast. I can’t wait to surprise you with Disneyland.
You can spell your own name and talk like a miniature adult. I can’t stand how fast you’ve grown. I want to slow time down and at the same time I can’t wait to see where life takes us next. It seems every morning your a completely different person, full of questions and striving for more and more information. Never stop.
I love you,
Mummy x
I love hearing how much things change and ask you the same questions every month:
Your best friend: Mummy & Daddy a little bit.
Your favourite color: Pink. And a little bit of sparkle.
Your favourite food: Cheese & ham.
Your favourite book: A bit lost by Chris Haughton.
Your favourite thing to do: Eat cake with Mummy.
Your favourite place to go: Soft Play
Your favourite toy: Mr Rabbit.
What would you like to be when you grow up? A retographer like Mummy.
Ahhh, it’s such a lovely idea to ask her the same questions each months. I had plans to do something similar each year from 3, but I think it’s cute to ask monthly and see how the answers change.
She really is such a little cutie. x
I have just caught up on all the blogs my phone wasn’t letting me on
I love this one and the questions as it’s so true how quick the answers can change each time, I love yeah innocence
Aaawww.. This is so sweet and adorable. What if my mom does this? I don’t know how to react!
