Oh Paris, you have my heart! | Travelling with children

Since I was little I’ve always wanted to visit Paris.  Amelie is one of my favourite films and I am in love with the language.  We decided to book up for Ruby’s 3rd birthday and treat her to Disneyland Paris too.

So, we arrived in Paris, the most beautiful place I have ever seen.  We popped in a taxi to the hotel, which took an hour on the hottest day ever and when we arrived I was ill.  I spent the first 36 hours in bed with a lovely tummy bug.  Our hotel was only a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, waking to see it every morning never got old.  We spent our week walking along the Seine, eating baguettes and ice cream.

The morning of her birthday  we got up at 5:30am and walked to the Eiffel Tower, I wanted shots of her there with no one around (I know, I know, bad mummy!).
Even at 6am there were people out running and doing yoga.  But it was peaceful enough.  We had a little dance and play and took some shots infront of the Eiffel Tower, including Mr Rabbit!

We had a little picnic breakfast then headed to Disneyland bright and early!

My favourite film is Amelie and we got to visit the cafe she worked in.  Ruby enjoyed her hot chocolate a little too much.

    Hello beautiful people!!!
Your blog is just totally heart warming and beautiful!
I live in Edinburgh as well and would love to give a special present to Ruby to fill her beautiful little heart with love and warmth. Please have a look at my website http://www.littleangelhugs.com and if she would like a sweet angel to be another very special friend to her, she is very welcome to choose one, so she can cuddle up to it, tell her new friend little stories and take her or him on her adventures. It would be a real pleasure for me if it could make her really happy again!
    Kindly let me know,
    Warm regards,
    Chantal
