My mornings were once slow. I’d wake and sit in the quiet with a cup of tea and a notebook. I’d write down a few notes for the day ahead and a little gratitude list while slowly sipping my tea, listening to how quiet the world was before it was properly awake.
Now, I have kids. I have kids who wake early, earlier than the birds and my quiet mornings are filled with the sound of chattering and the crunches of cereal. I still sit with my tea, hugging my favourite mug in close, curled up on a chair and I listen to them chat.

Tea for me is a comfort. It’s the first thing I go to on a bad day or even a good, it’s my release at the end of an evening and the first thing I reach for each morning. It’s a moment that fills the quiet, it’s the million stories that are told over each cup.
So, for this weeks task, shoot your tea. Share your morning cuppa or your evening brew. Share it with a story or just on its own. When is your tea moment? Share your images over on Instagram using @mylittlewildlings & #MyLittleCapture so I can see and share them all.
Last weeks challenge was ‘Home’. Being in the middle of a lockdown has forced everyone to see it a little differently and the word home is translated so many different ways this week on instagram.
