We spent Mother’s Day by the sea with no one else around. We drank hot chocolate and skimmed stones. Built rock piles and found heart shaped stones for our jar.

It’s like we knew it was our last day out for a while. We soaked up the sea air and just sat taking in the view, listening to the waves crashing against the rocks.

It’ll be a while before we’ll get to enjoy a day at the beach again, but when we do, it will feel magical.
