I tried to drag out Autumn as long as I could. But it’s December, and snow has fallen at least 3 times in the last week or so. Winter is has arrived and has done a beautiful job so far.
The city has had a romantic dusting of snow, like something from a movie, giant snowflakes fell and people smiled as they walked around with their heads tilted to the sky.
We’ve been taking this festive season as slow as we can, sharing it with family, buying less gifts with more meaning and eating as many chocolates as we can in the process. It’s been filled with ballet shows and Jolly Jumper days and I can hardly believe it’s already Christmas Eve.
Grab a hot chocolate & a blanket and settle in for the night.
