Week 15 | Living Arrows

I feel like I say this most days.  But where have my babies gone?  It didn’t seem like yesterday I was holding these fresh, wrinkly little babies in my arms.  Now they are sitting having tea parties with their big sister.
Ruby has been so desperate for this moment for so long.  The moment we found out one of the babies was going to be a girl, she plotted and planned all the ‘girl’ things they could do together.  Tea party always came top of the list.  Today was that day.  Emily grabbed everything from the table and sucked the life from it, but Ruby just enjoyed having the real life company.

All those old sayings are true.  The days are long but the years are short.  If only we could pause time, for a little while.

Stunning photo of Emily, and lovely how she’s now just about ready to ‘play’ tea with Ruby. Those eyes are just so blue #livingarrows
