When things are a little perfect | Living Arrows 25+

It’s the summer holidays here in Edinburgh and I think the weather is drunk.  Some days we have extreme heat, it’s too hot to venture outside, with 3 under 2 and a stroppy 5 year old.  Then other days the wind and thunder storms are so fierce I dare step foot over the doorway for fear that one of my kids will blow away, so we snuggle up on the sofa and pop on disney movies.  Before you know it, it’s 10pm, everyones in bed, the house is back to a normal standard of organization and I am exhausted even just thinking about the chaos thats coming the next day.

Inbetween the monotony of motherhood you find little moments of special.  Those rare little gems that remind you of what it was like when you were little.  How magical the world is and wish the world would just pause for a moment so you could soak it all up.

‘This is what I like about photographs.  They’re proof that once, even if just for a heartbeat, everything was perfect.’
– Jodi Picoult

How have I only just read your blog properly? Thank you SO MUCH for linking up to Living Arrows. I know you’ve linked up regularly in the past but I don’t think I have taken the time to read properly until now. I very nearly cried at your intro in the sidebar and your kids are absolutely beautiful. I’m adding you to my Bloglovin to read regularly going forward x

Thank you so much Donna! It’s so lovely to know people enjoy it! I’d love to link each week but I barely manage a shower most days, never mind blogging. Next year, I’ll be able to take part every monday! I do love it. I was going to change my side bar intro, might keep it now 🙂 x

These are such fabulous photos – I love the Hula Hoop one! This weather has been a bit bonkers lately hasn’t it?

The weather is still crazy! Finally getting some sort of summer and the shops are bringing in fall clothing. The hula shot is our favourite 🙂
